Administrative Staff

Rebecca McCuller, Directress. Rebecca earned her undergraduate degree in Child Development and Education. She completed the Montessori Pre-Primary Teacher Certification program in 2000 and has her Directors Credential and an AS in Early Childhood Education. Prior to opening the school in June of 1999, Rebecca worked as the Director of The International Network For Children And Families and President of INCAF Publications, an International educational support group to parents and educators throughout thirteen countries. Rebecca is CPR/First Aid certified.

Infant/Toddler Teaching Staff

Vicki Griffith, Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher & Training Coordinator. Vicki has worked in childcare for the past 23 years and and joined the Spencer House team in 2002. She has lived in Gainesville with her husband David and daughter Jennifer for the past 28 years. Vicki earned her CDA Credential from St. Thomas Univ. in 1993. Vicki has also completed her 40 hour teacher certification and is CPR/First Aid certified.

Beginners Teaching Staff

Tammy Fischer, Beginners Lead Teacher. Tammy is currently attending Santa Fe Community College and has a daughter who attends The Spencer House. Tammy joined us in November of 2005 and has been a very welcome additon to our staff.

Roberta Snyder, VPK Lead Teacher. Roberta is an AMS certified Montessori instructor for ages 3 to 6 with over 12 years of experience. Prior to coming to work with us during the 2004-2005 school year, Roberta spent 4 years at Martha Manson Academy as a preschool teacher and 8 years at a large Florida Montessori school. Roberta is CPR/First Aid certified.

Carol Grandgeant, VPK Lead Teacher. Carol has 20 years of teaching experience. She holds her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and is certified Kindergarten through Second grade. She has her 40 hour Teacher Certification through the State of Florida. Carol is CPR/First Aid certified.

Donna Turner, Lead Afterschool Teacher. Donna has 20 years of teaching experience both in the public school system and in private schools. Donna has her National CDA and is continuing her education at SFCC.

Stacey Criccio, MS, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist. Stacey has her Masters Degree in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. Each week she works with the children on activities to improve fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and general school/development skills. Stacey is also part of our line of defense along with the teachers to identify children with developmental delays who may need the help of a specialist. Learn more about Occupational Therapy...

Peggy Jensen, Music Instructor. For the past 25 years, Peggy has been teaching preschool music in area schools and has developed her own curriculum for early childhood music. Owner of Peggy's Music, she offers private voice and piano instruction for all ages. Her main objective is providing her students with a joyful and creative experience.
